The High School Equivalency (GED) Program provides adults who did not complete a traditional high school program with the opportunity to earn a state-recognized secondary school credential.
Preparing for the GED tests through Adult Education classes can help you build the skills and confidence needed for success. Our classes familiarize students with the content covered on the exams, the types of questions they will encounter, and the computer-based testing format used for all GED subject tests.
With the support of experienced instructors and personalized learning opportunities, you can work toward achieving your educational goals and earning your South Carolina High School Equivalency Diploma.
GED Registration & Class Information
Summer Registration Update:
GED class registration is currently closed for the summer as teachers and staff prepare for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. We look forward to welcoming both new and returning students when registration kicks off the week of August 3-7, 2027. After the kick-off, we will continue to enroll students in our GED program through April 2028.

Class Schedule Options
At Lexington One Adult Education, we understand that adult learners have busy schedules. To help meet the needs of our students, we offer several class options throughout the week. Whether you prefer morning, afternoon, or evening classes, we have a schedule designed to fit your lifestyle.
🌞 Morning Classes (In Person)
Monday–Thursday
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Ideal for our young adult students and those who prefer to attend classes during the day while children are in school or before other commitments.
☀️ Mid-Day Classes (In Person)
Tuesday–Thursday
1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
A great option for students seeking a shorter daytime schedule with flexibility for work and family responsibilities.
🌙 Evening Classes (In Person)
Tuesday & Thursday
5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Designed for students, 18 years old and older, who need a convenient evening learning opportunity.
