GED Program

Why Earn Your South Carolina High School Equivalency Diploma?

Whether your goal is to pursue higher education, qualify for a better job, or achieve a personal milestone, our program is designed to help you succeed. The High School Equivalency (GED) Program offers adults the opportunity to acquire a secondary school credential without graduating from a traditional high school. Enrolling in a preparatory class can help familiarize you with what is on the test, the types of questions you will be asked, and the format used on the GED tests.

What are Prep Classes?

The Lexington One GED Prep Program is lead by our Adult Education Director and GED Coordinator. Classes are classes taught in-person by a team of dedicated, certified Lexington One teachers. Classes offer a balance of both individual support (personalized attention, self-paced work) and group interaction (collaboration, discussion) to provide a comprehensive learning experience. Our College and Career Navigator will assist learners with developing and achieving goals after earning the GED credential. and connecting graduates to resources.

In the Lexington One Adult Education GED Prep classes, we:

  • build on skills you already have
  • work on skills that need improvement
  • teach test-taking skills to alleviate anxieties you may have
  • cheer you on
  • help however we can
